Yesterday we focused on nature and learning about Italy. We love our nature notebooks from the Good and the Beautiful and we had fun feeding our duck friends corn! The ducks really loved the corn! And boys really wanted to wear Ole Miss hats for our exploring today!

To learn about Italy, we watched some fun homeschool videos and then I taught the boys how to make spaghetti and meatballs and cannoli cones! It was a super yummy evening! But we did learn in one of our videos that spaghetti and meatballs is actually an American dish! The cannoli cones were one of the best desserts that I have ever had! They are so delicious and so easy to make! My only adjustment to the recipe would be to refrigerate the filling for an hour or two before filling the cones if you are using the packaged ricotta cheese like we did. Here is the amazing recipe! We ended the evening, curled up on the couch, watching Pinocchio on Disney Plus which is set in Italy.
